Sticky notes

Recently I've bought two packs of sticky notes from Aliexpress. I use them to put a reminder on my diary or book covers or as bookmarks (they make studying less boring). I've chosen

 these designs as I really like Paris and I went to Holland on holiday last summer and I fell in love with it. They were cheap and they are really sticky!

However, there are also other designs to choose from!

Online shops for cute stationery Part 1

I've thought it would be nice to list some of my favourite online shops for stationery, even though the majority of them sell also other products such as Japanese and Korean sweets or magazines, bags, purses, mobile and home accessories. I started with Paperchase, which is actually the one I know better than the others as it has many stores in Europe. But I would like to create a top 5 of my favourite online shops that sell thing that cannot be find in Italy or Europe.


1) The first one on the list is Blippo, I've already written another post about one of my recent order. The shop is based in California, but the ship from Hong Kong. They offer a large selection of Kawaii products and these include also stationery. They section I love the most is pencil cases, they have some animal shaped pencil cases that you can find only on their website! And shipping costs are free worldwide! If you sign up for their newsletter they'll send you an email with 10% discounts on your next order

2) The second one is Modes4u. The company is based in Hong Kong and they have a huge variety of stationery, fabrics (if you like quilting), bags. What I've found amazing are the DIY erasers making kit. I'd like to order one and review it as from what I've watched on Youtube they seem awesome! Shipping costs are reasonable, 3 euros are charged as a basic fee plus an extra fee per items according to its weight. However for orders over 60 euros there are no shipping costs!

My order from #Blippo has arrived and it has taken only 3 weeks!
The highliters are even better than in the picture on the website. There are six colours, all of them work perfectly, colours are vibrant (I feared they were like felt tip pens, but I was wrong) so I couldn't hask for more!

They were sold out, but they have restocked them! They cost around 4 euros, so very good quality for the price.
Ah, last but not least, they are double ended with a fine and a broad tip!

I've got mail

This morning I received two of my online orders (the others are on their way)!
I was so excited to open the boxes! I have received the pens and the pencil case I'd bought from Aliexpress!
The pens are lovely, the colours are vibrant and they've got ink gel! It was such a good deal: 10 coulours for less than 2 dollars! On Aliexpress there are many sellers so it's important to search for the same item more than once, trying to slightly change the name of what you are looking for. Usually shipping costs are free and there always discounts!

The pencil case is simply awesome. It has got also wheels that actually works! So there is a small cord at the back and you pull to make your pencil case move like a bus! It's mainly for kids, I know, but I don't really care!
I ordered both the pencil case and the pencils on the same day from two different sellers and it took just 3 weeks to arrive from Korea and China.

Some shops for kawaii stationery Paperchase

Recently I have been browsing the Net for cute stationery and now I can share with you the results. There are many online shops, but sometimes the international shipping cost can be quite high. No matter how nice and impossible to find in Italy, I won't pay 15 euros for a pen (I'm not that fool yet!)


First on the list is Paperchase, a shop based in the UK and a must go if you are there. There are many outlets in main cities, also in other European Countries (not in Italy...), but they sell also online. During mid season sales or sales (tip: shop in January or April) there are so many discounts! That's the right moment to buy. They sell everything, from greeting cards, to pens and diaries, but my favourite are tin pencil cases. I have bought one and I use it everyday. It's a two layer one but they don't have it anymore.

Next order will surely include this banana pencil case!!

Languange switch

I was wondering whether it would be better to switch to English and then I made the decision. I know that it's impossible to be as effective in another language as you are in your mother tongue, something goes alway missing and language becomes dull. But as I'm not writing about literature nor I have got any ambition to do it, I won't vandalise nor pollute this beautiful languate too much (or at least I hope).

Shinzi Katoh Shop

I've just discovered the online shop of Shinzi Katoh, a Japanese artist who illustrated children and adult books in the 70's. Then he moved to design also of stationery and then of ceramic, wood and bads and clothes.
Many of the products are inspired by fairy tales characters like Little Red Riding Hood or novels like Alice in Wonderland (one of my favourite).I really love the vintage design, I would buy everything!!

This notepad is wonderful, and it's only 3 euros (even less 2.94 to be precise)! So cheap!
And the pages have differentr designs!

Also other objects on the shop are adorable. I have also a weakness for mugs, so I had to visit also that section, but as they take more space than stationery I have to limit myself to pens and erasers! But just have a look at this cup inspired to Hansel & Gretel...

Payment methods are paypale or credit card. So perfect.
Shipping costs seems quite reasonable, I have tried to place an order but I didn't finalize it (not yet) to calculate delivery and it was just 5 or 6 euros to Italy. There is obviously a downside: delivery time seems very long. 14 days to process and ship the order and 2 month for delivery. But it could be worth the effort!

Ordine Blippo!!

La settimana scorsa ho fatto un ordine di prova su Blippo, un sito che sicuramente molti conosceranno già. Tra le tantissime cose, vendono anche prodotti di cartoleria giapponese e coreana molto molto carini. Visto che le spedizioni sono gratuite, mi sono detta: perché non provare?
I prezzi sono bassi, e consiglio di andare a vedere la sezione astucci, ne hanno di bellissimi; peccato che molti prodotti siano esauriti... Alla fine, dopo una decisione lunga e meditata, ho optato per un pacco di sei evidenziatori doppia punta a solo 4.40! Non ho aggiunto altro, perché non sapevo se ci sarebbero poi stati dei dazi o altre tasse da pagare alla dogana. Ho letto qualche articolo online e, a quanto pare, se il valore della spedizione (merce e spese comprese) non supera i 22 euro, non dovrebbero esserci problemi. Vedremo!
I tempi di spedizioni sono stati rapidissimi, il giorno successivo avevano già inviato il pacco, ma i tempi di consegna sono lunghi. Credo almeno 20 giorni, ma non ho nessuna fretta. Aspetto con calma. Ah, ovviamente, non c'è modo di avere un tracking number.
C'è anche una fornitissima sezione di riviste, ma i prezzi sono un po' alti e io ho un piccolo problema: non conosco il giapponese, purtroppo.

Tiger

Iniziamo con una delle mie fonti preferite: i Tiger store. Ormai si trovano in quasi tutte le città e hanno un reparto cartoleria davvero fornitissimo, oltre a mille altre oggetti molto carini per la casa, soprattutto per la cucina. Senza contare che ogni mese arrivano delle novità, non sempre penne o matite, ma vale la pena fare un giro.
Sono molto soddisfatta degli acquisti fatti, anche perché i prezzi sono bassi e la qualità è piuttosto alta, eccetto i quaderni, la cui carta è molto sottile e sottolineando si macchia il foglio dall'altra parte. Un dettaglio non da poco...
Comunque li acquisto spesso ugualmente, per via delle copertine colorate, poi un uso glielo trovo. Meglio evitarli per appunti che devono essere tenuti nel tempo, ma per esercizi vanno benissimo.

Ultimo acquisto della settimana scorsa

Questo è risultato dell'ultimo giro fatto da Tiger la settimana scorsa: con meno di dieci euro sono uscita felice. Mi accontento di poco!!
Notare le gomme-matite, pensavo non funzionassero, invece cancellano alla perfezione. Provare per credere!
Cosa dire poi delle clip... a forma di mela e numero!
Il quaderno, come dicevo, l'ho comprato perché la copertina era davvero simpatica.

Iniziamo

Eccomi qui a scrivere il mio primo blog, spero di riuscire a essere costante e ad aggiornarlo. L'idea è nata dalla mia passione, quasi un'ossessione, per oggetti di cartoleria: penne, matite, astucci. Ovunque vada in vacanza le vetrine delle cartolerie mi attirano come il miele per le mosche: non posso fare a meno di entrarci e una volta dentro per me è finita. Non ho scampo, compro qualcosa, che poi mi dispiace anche usare... 

Qualche settimana fa ho scoperto i siti di cartoleria coreana. Non so come fosse possibile, ma non era a conoscenza della loro esistenza. Mi si è aperto un mondo! Ovviamente, ho fatto qualche ordine di prova e vorrei raccontare la mia esperienza e le mie impressioni sui prodotti che mi arriveranno (sempre che non mi sia presa una fregatura e rimanga ad attendere invano).

I've got the idea to keep my own blog because of my obsession, because I couldn't call it in any other way, for stationery products like pens, erasers and so on. I buy pens and similar stuff everywhere I go on holiday, I can't resist stationery's windows, and when I'm in, I'm doomed. I have to buy something, that when I come home I'm even sorry to use!
A few weeks ago I found out kawaii stationery. I was a revelation! I don't know how I could have done without before! I have obviously placed some orders from different websites to try the shipping costs, the delivery time and the quality of the products. As seen online they seem amazing! So I'm going to write about my experience once I have received the goods ordered.
